TimePeace for families lets a teenager aged 13 to 17 keep their own private diary, with a parent or guardian on the account. You choose how much you see, from a light touch to approving every new connection, and your child always sees exactly what you can see. Their diary stays theirs.
Young people aged 13 to 17. On TimePeace, everyone under 18 has a parent or legal guardian on their account, and the parent sets it up. If you don’t use TimePeace yet, you create a free account first, then add your child in Settings, under Family. It takes about a minute.
You choose one of four levels. Hands off, from 16: you see that the account exists and hear if anything serious happens. In the loop: you also see who your child is connected with, which groups they are in and who they chatted with this week, but not what was said. Approve first: new connections and groups wait for your OK. Read along: you can read their chats too, and they see every read.
No. The diary, mood, sleep and anything your child writes for themselves stay private at every level. The levels are about the places their words reach other people: connections, groups and chats.
Yes, always. Their My family page shows the level in the same words you see, every switch as it stands, every change you make and every time a chat was read. From there they can ask you for a change, and you answer yes or no.
At Approve first and Read along, a new connection or a group your child wants to join waits until you say OK. You get a notification and answer with one tap. You can also set quiet hours, so messages to your child wait and arrive in the morning.
Yes. A child can have two guardians. The parent who set the account up adds the second one, who needs their own TimePeace account. Either of you can answer approvals and requests, and your child sees both names.
On the birthday you entered, the account becomes your child’s own. Your view ends that day and nothing they have written is lost. You both hear thirty days ahead, and you can leave a note for the day.
Nothing extra. Children ride on their parent’s plan at no extra cost, up to five per family.
Yes. A parent can close and delete a child’s account. Your child gets fourteen days’ notice and can download a copy of everything they have written, and you can cancel until then.
Nothing a parent can see or do is hidden from the child. Every level, every change and every read shows on their own My family page as it happens, and anyone in a chat a parent can read is told. Trust works better when it runs both ways.
