A private online diary

A diary nobody can read but you.

TimePeace is a private online diary: you write your days in plain words, each entry built on your own device, and nothing is read, mined or sold. Turn on encryption and your diary is sealed with a key only you hold — so the one person who can ever read it is you. No ads, no third-party tracking, nothing performed for an audience.

Plain answers

What makes TimePeace a private diary?

Three things, plainly: every entry is built on your own device from what you log, the tender parts — your mood, your health — stay sealed to you, and you can switch on encryption that scrambles your diary to a key only you hold. With it on, not even we can read your entries. It’s a diary with the lock on the inside.

Who can read what I write?

Only you. Nothing is posted, shared or shown to anyone — there’s no feed, no profile, no audience waiting on the other side. With encryption on, not even we can open your entries; without it, we’re the data controller under POPIA and we never read your diary to mine or sell it. Nothing reads your diary but you.

Is anything sent away or sold?

No. TimePeace runs on no ads, no third-party tracking and nothing sold — those are absolutes, not aspirations. Your words are never fuel for an advertiser; the only tracking is the diary you asked it to keep, and it stays yours. You can export everything and take it with you whenever you like.

Nothing reads your diary but you.

Most diary apps quietly read what you write — to train something, to sell something, to fill a feed. TimePeace is built the other way around: your entries are yours, kept on your device, and with encryption on they’re sealed to a key only you hold. Privacy isn’t a setting here; it’s the foundation.
